Minute Math

We will begin our “One Minute Math” tests on February 19th. We will have a math fact speed test each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until the end of the year. The goal of the tests is to have the children writing the answers to 30 fact questions in 60 seconds. This poses three challenges for our students: writing rapidly, computing correctly and quickly.

The speed tests build upon facts “mastered” in previous tests, so it is essential that the students recognize their errors and correct them.

Week of Feb 18th +0 rule, +1 rule

Week of Feb 25th +1 rule, 2+2
